Embedded controller with two rotary encoders, Ethernet and USB (JPL-6520B)
This control embedded module was developed to control the JPL-6520 - High
Voltage Laboratory Power Supply. However, it can be easy used for many other
applications. The module is based on Microchip 18F25K50 mictrocontroller.
It has two independent and hardware decoded 24 ppr rotary encoders. One is for voltage
setting, the second for current setting.
For controlling an exteernal device, the module has several digital I/O lines and SPI bus
available on feature connector for possible add-on circuits. The module has two analog
inputs and analog outputs (8-bit DAC and 16-bit DAC).
Optionally, the enbedded controller can be populated with two interfaces, USB and Ethernet, for a remote control.
The module size is 190 mm x 40 mm.
